hmm.... nothing much happened today.... feeling the monday blues
was tired, decided to go home..... but andy wasn't feeling too good
so decided to accompany him with afew games of pool and supper

man, the weather is getting rather warm......
even a walk home in the night can cause alotta sweat......
miss the cold cold weather..... i love the cold.....
i'd rather be cold..... sigh, think i am inside of me......

i guess one problem is that i'm swaying further and further away from God.....
escaping Him while instead of embracing Him in moments like these......
sigh, wake up!!! wake up!!!

Lord, i know You are knocking at my door....
i'm gonna let You in..... i want to You come in....

Grrr...... slept at 5am and was woken up at 9am by my HP......
my colleague called me and told me to go back to camp to pass Commissioner some medical equipment
i was freaking pissed...... first of all, i did not get much sleep..... that's bad enough.....
2nd of all, it's so last minute..... cuz the Commissioner is already in camp...... so i gotta rush down......
3rd-ly, they could always get the stuff from the fire station near by......

great, my sleep is disturbed and i felt so tired to whole day......
went to andy's place to jam later on.....
and i'm back home with a freaking headache...... tired......
sigh, when is it gonna ever get better......
ever since i came back from London, it's been a nightmare......
if SARS doesn't kill me, i think all this bullshit will.....

did nothing interesting today......
was so damn busy from the time i stepped into camp till the time i stepped out of camp......
still managed to pluck up some energy to go running and to the gym......
was dead tired after that.......
sigh, i wonder when this workload is gonna end.....
dun think it will cuz of SARS......... sheesh

i'm just feeling really tired.... physically and mentally.....
need a refreshment somehow......
need to get out of my miserable circle of thoughts and break free.....
but somehow i feel trapped inside, not seeming to have any escape......
am i holding on to things that are not meant to be?
am i just escaping reality and hiding in my small box?
all i want is to find solace, to feel loved and love in return......
but it seems like i'm fading away......
fading away from hope, fading away from everything......

sometimes, i'll just star blankly at my com's screen.....
then hurt and sadness comes knocking at my door.....
try as i might to chase them away..... but most of the time, i'll let them in......
cuz they seem to be my only relation.....
helpless and empty i'll feel...... think i'm broken
and lost and gone......

think i'll just sleep it off like i always do......
telling myself tomorrow will be a better day......
but when i wake up, i'll know it'll just be 'another day'

Lord, help me..... i'm sinking deeper and deeper each day....
Hear my humble plea...... forgive me....

my workload is getting heavier by the day.....
now in camp, everybody must take their temperature TWICE.....
once in the morning and once during lunch time.....
each takes about 1 1/2hr to be completed......
so guess what, no lunch break for me...... great
damn, this is getting tiring..... hope i dun burn out.....
i'm still on holiday mood actually.... hehe.....

met up with chris and candice after work.....
had dinner, then decided to head home for i'm just exhausted
really dunno how i manage to pluck up the energy to type out this bloggy

back to camp, was greeted with tons of work due to SARS
have to check the temperature of everybody in camp, everyday....
sheesh, gotta be stationed at the guard room every morning too.....

oh well, at least there's some consolation......
there's a new clerk for the medical centre.....
and also today, 2 new medics came.....
when your replacements arrive, that's one sign that your ORD date is close
more manpower = more slack
ahh....... shoiks

bought a new mixer from UK...... wanna go into scratching now......
bought tons of scratch records too......
there are stretches of record shops there.... SELECTA!!!!
kinda miss london now.... the weather, the nice places, renee.......
hai..... oh well..... looking forward to Thailand in July.....

aight, this is the last night i'm spending in London
heading back home in the morning, saturday......
sigh, dun really feel like leaving.....
cuz i'm welcomed with NS life and the SARS shit.....
but then again, i kind of miss home...... my bros and sis'

well, renee will be coming back soon, some time in late June.....
guess, she's happy now that i'm leaving, so that she can have her own space
haha..... she's been a lovely host..... love ya!!!!! =)
thank you for everything sweetz..... will see you in June/July?

aight, back from Liverpool.... it's not that bad
the people there speak with a welsh accent.... weird
well, to me, the people there are not as friendly as the people in London
but who cares, i'm only there for 2 days.......

first, i went to Anfield Stadium, the home of the KOP
co-incidentally, they were holding a memorial service for the liverpool fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough Stadium
was the exact day and month, April 15th. but it happened in 1989.....
the liverpool players were there too! caught a glimpse of them....
renee was like more excited then i was.... cuz she wanted to see Jamie Redknapp
but i forgot to tell her that he was sold to Tottenham Hotspurs.... hehe
but hey, i got into the stadium free!!! normally, a tour ard the stadium would cost 4.50pounds
ahh, the feeling is magical.... too bad i can't catch a game there..... then i would die happy....

then checked out the city abit, and headed to Nandos for dinner
that brach just opened and everything on that day was free!!! woohoo!!!
Penappa, Renee and I ate like pigs.... lucky us.... haha
first, free entry to Anfield Stadium, then free dinner.... what's next? hehe

today we went to a Anglican Cathedral called the Liverpool Cathedral.....
oddly, the design was created by the Catholics and vice versa.....
it's huge!!! massive!!! love the interior..... really nice
and we managed to get all the way to the top.... shoik view of liverpool!!! =)

then, took a 3 hr train trip back to London.....
damn, 3 more days and i'm back to SARS land, Singapore.... haha
oh well, i'll enjoy it while it last....

hmm, ok let's see.... sat's football game was fantastic!!!
finally get to see a football match in England live!!!
the atmosphere is superb, especially when everybody is singing....
final score CHELSEA 1 - 0 BOLTON.....
thankfully, if not the fans will get rowdy.....

didn't do much today.... went searching for this DJ shop that sells equipment
bought a vestax PMC 05 mixer from them.....
it's cheaper compared to Singapore and i can claim back VAT tax.....

going up to Liverpool in the morning.... shoiks

feeling really lazy today.... so stayed indoors the whole day....
it's getting colder now.... highest 8 degrees, lowest 0 degrees
on the news, it said that london was snowing?!!!
but i didn't see any..... damn.... hope i see some....
have never seen snow in my life before.....
yes, abit deprived..... hehe.... oh well

went to a Michael Lau exibition, he just launched his stuff in the UK
think he's trying to break through the market....
with his all famous 12" barbie dolls, erm, i mean, figures....
the exibit was cool, it displayed almost all his 12" figures
i took all the figures down on cam so if any of you guys want some, let me know
the damn t-shirt cost 55quid!!!! poster 20quid!!! wah liew!!!!

then renee and i went to the London Eye......
it's a huge merry-go-round, which lasted about 1/2hr
ahh, london's skyline was beautiful from up there......
but it can't beat Effiel Tower's view..... fantastic!!! =)

aight, updates updates......
went to Camden Town on monday......
known for having lots of punks, skins and goths......
well, honestly i only saw ahandful of them.....
maybe they come out and play in the nights.......

the place is more like a shopping paradise......
like far east shopping centre, but extended 10 fold.....
stretches of shophouses and alleys full of roadside shops.....
had lunch at this place called "Singapore Sling"
wanted to have local stuff for a change but was kind of deceived
the food can't compare to that back home.... but it was ok i guess
anything's ok to me when i'm hungry.... hehe

well well, been sleeping in till the late afternoons these few days....
the cool weather makes me wanna sleep more.... shoiks
went to Notting Hill today.... there is some sort of a flea mart there.....
happens every saturday only..... quite a sight! =)
but the stuff there are still on the expensive side....
but i couldn't resist spending on a vintage 'medic pouch' bag
renee and i bought one each cuz there were 2....
20 pounds gone! woohoo! but i guess it's worth it.....
had some roadside burgers, which were excellent!
had some crepes too.... it sucks.... felt sick after eating it.....

getting use to the life here after a week....
but my skin begs to defer, some parts are dried up and peeling....
oh well, and the air here is pretty bad, compared to Singapore....

give and take, i still prefer home sweet home, Singapore... =)

oh, by the way, went to this club called Bar Rumba in London yesterday
they play Drum and bass and fortunately for me, my favourite dnb DJ was spinning that night
DJ MARKY!!! BOH!!! BIG UP BIG UP!!! along with DJ PATIFE and XRS.....
manage to shake the hands of Marky and XRS..... ahhhhhhhhhhh
took pictures too....... and a great time..... the scene in London is wicked!!!!

back from Paris afew days ago.... it's a lovely place!!! =)
would recommend it to anybody who wants to go for a holiday....
first up we went to Disneyland.... damn big man.....
took a whole day to barely explore the whole area.....
the next day we went musuem hopping......
first was to the Lourve, where the all-famous painting of Mona Lisa lies.....
then to the museum of Picasso. almost all his works were displayed there
after that we went to the Pompidou, the musuem for modern arts.....
was really impressed by this museum..... really nice......
then in the night, we went to the Eiffel Tower. Shoiks!!!
the scene from the top is breath-taking..... but i was freezing my ass up there cuz of the winds
the last day we went to Hard Rock Cafe and a Louis Vuitton boutique
there were tons of China Fraudsters outside.... asking us to buy LV products for them.....
sheesh..... syndicates, syndicates.......
